Simplify initial assessments through task list templates

There are so many tasks to remember when initially setting up your care for someone. Tasks can include:

  • Assigning a carer or support worker
  • Registering with a doctor or dentist, or taking details of existing health providers
  • Completing initial health observations and taking statistics such as height and weight
  • Taking emergency contact details
  • Creating observations about their mood

Dynamic dates

It may be that some tasks can not be carried out in a single interaction. This is why you can also assign deadlines to all tasks and why our task list templates use dynamic dates. This is where a task is set to be completed within a set time period of an individual's profile being set up rather than being based on a specific date.

Initial assessment notes

In addition to checklist-style tasks for you to work through. Flocare also has the ability to record more miscellaneous notes about the person you are working with. This can be useful for:

  • Recording personal items they arrived with
  • Any specific, niche needs
  • Distinguishing features to help identify them in an emergency
  • Helpful details for carers to recall in further interactions

How client onboarding works

To ensure client onboarding is consistent for every new person who your organisation looks after, workflows can be set up that make use of the task list template functionality. Add a new care profile to Flocare.

Flocare will use the 'initial assessment' task list template to automatically assign set tasks that must be completed for the client.

The carer is then able to work through these tasks and complete them according to the dynamic date deadlines.

Any other important information you think is useful can be added using notes.
